A perfect 10? Dr Michael Tatchell on the CSO

CSOThe Community Service Obligation (CSO) commenced on 1 July 2006 as part of the Fourth Community Pharmacy Agreement. Its genesis, though, can be traced back to the Review of Pharmaceutical Wholesaling undertaken in 2001/02, the report of which was released in September 2002.

In a series of short articles for the Australian Journal of Pharmacy, Dr Michael Tatchell examines its purpose, assess its effectiveness and identifies the benefits it provides for patients, pharmacists, wholesalers and the Australian Government.
